If you're going to come to Bay City and you want a sandwich this is the only place to go. It is very authentic and it's old world. They were actually playing live music while we were here like definitely recommend you check it out. I recommend you try the cheesy potato soup and they have a very nice chip selection. Thank you
The best subs in Bay City! Fresh bread. Perfectly ripe tomatoes. High quality cold cuts. The place isn't too much to look at. You may want to opt for take out. The dining room is large though. Every time we are in town we get Intermission! Our favorites are the Cowboy and the Reuben but I don't think you can go wrong.
I grew up in Saginaw and my go-to sandwich shop would be the Intermission Deli on Bay and State St. I never knew there was a Bay City location until a few years back and I finally got around to trying it out this weekend. Overall, it is as delicious as the one in Saginaw, however has a different interior vibe and for my one visit, slightly less meat on the sub. The good news is that the Bay City location is open on Saturdays. Great place for a great sub!
Great spot! Service was great - cashier was very pleasant. Food is always good. Simple, pleasant atmosphere. Sandwich made quickly, minimal wait.
A stand-up spot to get a sub in Bay City that is supporting the local guys rather than big corporations. Sandwiches are a nice size, though sometimes the amount of meat is on the skimpy side. No complaints on the taste and I really like their chip selection. We had a vegetarian's delight (they forgot the sprouts) and the intermission delight, both were good. Service was decent, but nothing to call home about. Decor is lovely as well. I recommend picking up a sandwich here and eating it at Tri-City Brewing with some beers!
Fresh, Fast great food in a neat old brick building. This is a Super owner run business that cares about their customers and Bay City. Never had a bad sub in 20 yes. Highly recommend. Mike and April M. Thanks
Ive been going here for about 10 years. Bonnie and her husband, the owners are very sweet. I enjoy taking to both of them very much. The staff has always been really nice. They serve soup as well as the sandwiches, there's a whole list of sandwiches to choose from. Pretty cheap for a deli too in my opinion for what you get! Spacious too, and don't forget to buy a cookie!
